PERSON-CENTRIC LIGHTING

The 4 Fs of Lighting Health: Function, Flicker, Fullness of Spectrum, and Focus
In general, the richness of the light’s spectrum, light flicker, and dispersion/focus of light distribution are three features of artificial lighting that can affect your health. The objective is to generate a lighting effect that most closely matches natural light for each of these factors.

Spectrum completeness: All of the visible wavelengths are present in ambient light. A fast method for determining the spectrum completeness of a light source is the Color Rendering Index (CRI). To most closely imitate the spectrum of natural light, an LED light should have a CRI of 95 or better.

Function: Select a color temperature in accordance with the function and purpose of the lighting system. To stimulate awareness during light treatment, consider a color temperature of 5000K or greater to resemble midday sunlight. Select a color temperature of 2700K or lower to lessen the effect of blue light during the nighttime hours.

Flicker: Many artificial light sources flash on and off at extremely fast rates that are typically invisible to the human eye but can have harmful consequences on health. The sun provides consistent illumination, hence an LED bulb must not display this strobing. Look for LED lights with a flicker index value of 0.02 or below and a flicker percentage of no more than 5%.

Focus: The sky is a vast dome of natural light that shines down on us, even though we rarely consider it in this way. Artificial lights with a narrow beam and a lot of glare are not like the diffused, broad light that falls on us throughout the day. To generate a similar effect, think about utilizing more low-brightness lights or lighting strategies like wall washing.

We have series LED strip for commercial lighting,SMD strip,COB/CSP strip,Neon flex and high voltage strip,if you have want customized the product, let us know your idea!
