Color rendering is a measure of how accurate colors appear under the light source. Under a low CRI LED strip, colors might appear distorted, washed out, or indistinguishable. High CRI LED products offer light that allows objects to appear the way they would under an ideal light source such as a halogen lamp, or natural daylight. Also look for a light source’s R9 value, which provides further information about how red colors are rendered.

When entomologists were studying the physiological characteristics of mosquitoes, they found that mosquitoes are particularly sensitive and fond of certain types of light, while they are particularly averse to others.
According to modern scientific research, mosquitoes have two compound eyes on their heads. Each compound eye contains approximately 500 to 600 single eyes. The more single eyes there are, the more light they can receive, and thus the stronger their sensitivity to light. Scientifically, mosquitoes are defined to have two types of responses to different light waves, namely light-avoidance and light-seeking responses: Blue light with wavelengths below 500nm has a strong attraction to mosquitoes. However, light with wavelengths above 500nm, especially those with wavelengths greater than 560nm, causes mosquitoes to exhibit obvious evasive behaviors during activities. Mosquitoes that are exposed to the light in a timely manner will show disordered flight, decreased vitality and remain motionless.
Based on the principle that all mosquitoes avoid light, our spectral engineers have collaborated with a team of mosquito biology experts from South China Agricultural University to develop a special spectral spectrum that efficiently repels mosquitoes by using ELightech's special spectral technology. Through continuous screening and evaluation among numerous spectra, they have successfully developed a special spectral spectrum that effectively repels mosquitoes, with an effective mosquito prevention rate of over 91.5%.
The LED mosquito-proof strip produced by Mingxue Optoelectronics,the emits amber light, which can produce a large amount of light that mosquitoes dislike, thereby achieving the effect of repelling mosquitoes. The visible light emitted by this mosquito-proof lamp truly achieves zero blue and zero violet light, causing no pollution or harm to the human body or the environment. 3-Scientific experiments have proved that mosquitoes are averse to the spectral energy range of 570-590nm. This product can fully meet this requirement and effectively repel insects. Compared with the existing common LED mosquito-proof lamp technology, this project completely avoids the spectrum below 500nm that can attract mosquitoes, and the efficiency is improved.
4-After testing, the single-lamp mosquito-proof area of this product reaches 0.8 to 1 square meter per watt, which is convenient for large-scale mosquito repellent. Especially during the mosquito breeding season, it can drive mosquitoes away from water sources and breeding grounds, which is conducive to significantly reducing the reproduction rate and population density of mosquitoes.
