Anikeza ukusebenza okuhle kakhulu ngenhloso ethile futhi avame ukutholakala kumadivayisi akhethekile njengezinhlelo zokuxhumana kanye nemishini yezokwelapha.

Ama-IC asetshenziswa ekuphathweni kwamandla: Lawa ma-IC alawula futhi alawule amandla asetshenziswa kumadivayisi kagesi. Ukulawula ukunikezwa kwamandla, ukushaja ibhethri, kanye nokuguqulwa kwamandla kagesi kuphakathi kwemisebenzi asetshenziselwa yona.

Lawa masekethe ahlanganisiwe (ama-IC) avumela ukuxhumana phakathi kwama-domain e-analog nawedijithali ngokuguqula amasignali e-analog abe yidijithali kanye nalawo aphambene nalokho. Aziwa ngokuthi ama-converter e-analog-to-digital (ADC) kanye nama-converter e-digital-to-analog (DAC).
